Rare 1887 Flint & Pere Marquette Railroad List of Preferred Stockholders Leather Bound Ledger Book Number 2. It is large and heavy, measuring 18" by 13" and weighing 11 lbs. The binding and corners have been professionally restored years ago. Amongst the shareholders is William W. Crapo (US Representative of Mass from 1875 to 1883), who was the son of Henry Crapo, former Mayor of Flint, Mi, and former Governor of Michigan. Also, William's nephew was William Durant, co-founder of General Motors. There are other dignitaries within the pages, such as William Webber and Jesse Hoyt.
