1866 Real Photo Poster Erie Railroad Rogers Locomotive #327 H G Brooks Engineer
RARE!! 1866 Erie Railroad Rogers Locomotive #327 Real Photo Poster in it's original frame! The poster measures approximately 23” by 19” (not including the frame) and the actual photo measures 17” by 11”, which by the photo standards of 1866 was HUGE!! The original glass was broken and I replaced it with Museum Quality protective glass so that it can last another 158 years. Measurements are in the photos. I did not take an overall measurement of the frame. It features the #327 Rogers Locomotive with it's ornate tender. Notice the murals on the side of the tender. This 4-4-0 powerplant has arched gothic windows and a picture of H. G. Brooks below the cab. This was discovered behind a Currier & Ives print, which was quickly removed! Read the description on the poster for details about this Locomotive!
